If you are planning to go for an outing with family & friends, this site is a must location to visit and soak up all the peace and beauty. Not far from either Pune or Mumbai this is the ideal spot to escape to for a day or 2. 🙂 “

” I was looking for a picnic location close by to Pune to spend the day in nature with my family and ended up at Pavna Huts which is truly a very awesome picnic place to visit specially for the pond and slides. My 78 Years old Aajji and my 2 years old son both were equally enjoying. It was like having pool party in your own courtyard. The food was excellent. ” We were 13, we randomly selected this place for one day picnic..we called to book the place..where the owner was specific about the facilities they had…on a very genuine note.

We reach the place around 10 ish in the morning and see a group of people and were a little in a lost state then the owner gave us a small brief regarding the place which was apt & specific..no exaggerations & pure truth.The breakfast & the lunch served were awesum beyond expectations and hot .. ..the best part about this picnic place is their hospitality..the homely feeling..absolutely friendly & hardworking people.They truly make you feel “Attithi devo bhav”..The beautiful & green surrounding , the small nursery, animals ..the mud pool & the pond which is of decent size with boats.. is enough for one to have a gala time.There is so much of peace here unlike the noisy life in Pune or Mumbai. Surely would recommend this picnic spot to everyone. It’s an experience that keeps you wanting more..

” Excellent place near Pune to spend a day or (many) overnight stays! We went last Sunday for a day trip and had blast. Was with 3 years to 65 years.Reached around 9 and welcomed by the owner himself. Check-in and got nice breakfast (poha, upma and tea). You have lots of things to do.. mud bath, two different pools, Pool slides, kayaking (can you believe it), Burma bridge, farm tour, playground to play different games, farm animals to pet, and so on.

At 1 PM had fantastic Maharashtra (veg) meal – nice taste, good quantity and quality. Then some of us took nap and some went to Bedse caves (2 KMs away + 450 steps). After returning in like an hour we spent time till 5 and enjoyed Hi-tea (with Bhaji) and returned back to Pune. (one and half hour drive)

Owner is passionate person and welcomes you as his personal guest. Highly recommend this picnic site for families and friends who want to spend good time on a farm. “

” Hi, We the team of 10 ladies and 4 kids visited Pavna huts for a day picnic. I must share this that the visit was awesome.

Starting from the breakfast which was very simple yet very tasty, everyone of us had fun in the water pool, kayaking, slides and most of the ladies were above 45 ..and to see them becoming a child again was a priceless experience. Kids could see how the farming is done + lovely pets all around… Ducks…Turtle..I could also spot few sparrows which is very rare to see in the Pune city area..

The burma bridge gave little adventurous feel and then all of us had sumptuous lunch which was very tasty. The concept behind the Pavna huts is truly inspiring and Hats off to Prasad and family for their passion and efforts. This picnic place is nearby Pune & is highly recommended for any age group. ” Hi..Prachi Nakhate here..Pavna Huts is a very relaxing picnic spot from day to day busy life of us..hospitalilty of Mr.Prasad n family is very nice n food was very tasty n healthy..No shining look like other holiday/picnic resorts around Pune but worth place to visit for relaxation n experience of village activities.Also Pavana Dam is very near from this site.i.e just 5 kms to enjoy the boating there..

I have been to many picnic spots around Pune for weekends but for me Pavna Huts will always be special for it’s unique style and villagy touch. “

” We three couples along with my 6 years daughter visited this place for two nights… As confirmed by Mr Prashad the place was more welcoming as we predicted. It is a very good option for overnight picnics near Pune for families and even ladies group who can enjoy this park with carefree atmosphere.The water boats and rides are well maintained and it was our best part to get refresh. Also the staff is well disciplined and helpful. Even Mr Prashad had arranged for Jain food for us. Vegetables used were from their farms plantation.

Over all we enjoyed a lot. Families who prefer non alcoholic and non tobacco zone, must definitely spend a day or 2 at this picnic location which is a very friendly & peaceful place near pune. Recommended to all. “

” A lovely place to be if you want to spend some quality time with nature. Superb to go with family or friends for a picnic. Entry is by invite only, hence do not just walk in. There are huts/cabins/cottages for guests who come for overnight stay. The enter premises is made by the owner keeping in mind a lot of small things in mind. There is Swimming Pool, few slides, Burma Bridge, Mud bath (a highlight of this place) and their own garden and nursery where they grow fruits and vegetables which are used to cook food which is served to you. A place extremely close to nature. You can also go for a 2 hour trek to Tikona hill. You will be served home cooked food don’t expect a paneer dish, chinese and continental. Typical rice rotis, normal chapatis, maharashtrian dish like pitla etc. All in all a lovely experience. Lovely people to be with. “

” We had been to Pavna Huts for a day picnic. The experience was just wonderful. We were not expecting a great deal, but what we got was really way too much than we had thought of.Simple Food but really good taste and the best part is the enthusiasm with which they served the food.

Mr. Prasad the Owner and his Family were great and the hospitality they showered on us is way beyond any 5 star property.

There are loads of fun activities (I really enjoyed boating and water slides) which will keep you occupied throughout the day. I would recommend this great picnic place for everyone. The best place for a one day stay / get away near Pune.

” I visited this great picnic spot by seeing such great reviews on this site and believe me its a good 1 day picnic spot to chill out in nature and lot of activities to enjoy. I so envy the lifestyle Mr Yelakar is living :)…. Thanks to his daughters Shravani and Shalmali who made the kids in our family so comfortable. My nephew still remembers her name by seeing the photos we took with them :)his farm is great …the small water pool with the Kayak and paddle boat is great for couple of hours to enjoy. We have nearby bedse caves and Pavana dam for more fun..!! Being so near to Pune, our overall experience is that it is a great venue to visit for families and kids to enjoy the outdoor serene beauty in Pavana nagar, kamshet. “

” A group of five children and five women had been to pavna huts on a hot summer sunday. Inspite of the hot sun..the water was freezing cold at 11.00 am. The pool activities are the major attraction,but for the kids everything at this picnic park was fun..right from the livestock,mini farm and orchard to the pool and other attractions like trampoline. I adore the fact that Mr. Prasad let the adult also used the trampoline (one by one of course). Tasty hot comfort food is as good as an well spread buffet when you are ravenously hungry after 3 hours in the pool. For once Prasad and his parents made sure the kids finished of their plates… What else wud you need, a fun filled Sunday picnic in a totally clean and healthy surrounding, children safe and totally taken care of…wud love to visit this picnic spot again & it is close by to Pune. Don’t forget to shop for the organic produce . They were yum. “
